O Silent Night, O Holy Night!
2016 years ago,
LOVE took human flesh
In the form of a helpless baby
Who learned to live like us
He laughed and cried like us
He ate and drank like us
He felt joy and suffering like us
He then showed us how to LOVE through it all.

2016 years today,
Divine LOVE now lives in our hearts
But is helpless without our will to love
He has no hands but ours
He has no feet but ours
He has no voice but ours
Love is the Joy of this season
